_{Sooo.... I usually don't go crazy on journals, but what happened not too long ago today was so sad/funny/embarrassing that I have say it....

So my sister's friend came down from Port St. Lucy for the weekend (they went to school together until her parents couldn't afford the crazy taxes n stuff in Ft. Lauderdale) and I decided that the three of us go out to eat at Las Olas and have fun and whatnot. So we went.

We found this cute little restaurant called Noodles Panini and ordered food when we realized that my sister's friend (who had brought a lot of money for the weekend and was going to pay for most of the meal while my sister payed for the rest) had forgotten her wallet at home and that under the circumstances we wouldn't be able to pay for everything. So my sister's friend canceled her order and when we counted the rest up we decided that we'd have enough money then to pay. And we ate and everything was fine.

Until we got the bill. We were $11 over! I was like "Whut the freakin hell?!" and realized that not only did they automatically charged an 18% gratuity (is it just me or is that a bit high?), but they also charged a $6 'service charge' probably for the canceled order. So I'm like 'Guess I have to use my debit card, I hope I have enough". I call my mom and have her go online to check my balance and I only have $8. Not even with the cash my sister had and $8 could we pay the bill.

At this point my sister's ready to wet herself and I'm thinking along the lines of "Should I leave my sis and her friend (who are both around 13 years old) here while I go back home (which is 30 minutes away) and get money?", "Should I ask my mom to come over and bring money (which she WOULD NOT be happy about)?", "Should I use my card anyway and just pay the damn $30 overage fee?", "Should I call over a friend that lives nearby and borrow the money?" "Should we all just quickly get up and run away?"

In the end my mom had me give the phone to the waitress (who was kinda creeped out) and told her her own card number and everything. Then we were free to go.

But yea. Other than that, it was really fun. And the food was good .

In other news, we rented 4 movies yesterday (Superbad, Rush Hour 3, The Simpsons Movie and Paprika).

I haven't seen Superbad yet, Rush Hour 3 was...meh (funny, but not nearly as good as the other 2), The Simpson's Movie was great (I had seen it in the theaters already), and Paprika was AMAZING!!!!!

Paprika is this anime movie (it already won with that) "centers on a revolutionary machine that allows scientist to enter and record a subject's dream. After it is stolen, a fearless detective and a brilliant therapist join forces to recover the device before it falls into the hands of a 'dream terrorist'..." (straight from the box. It is totally and absolutely awesome (and a tad bit creepy, which makes it even better). It's a must-see.

Aaaaanyways.... that's all I have to say..... I'll go away now.
